Helixor® preparations are non-fermented, aqueous fresh plant extracts from two and a half years old mistletoe shoots (leaves, stems, flowers, berries). They are harvested four times a year (winter, spring, summer and autumn) to take into account different stages of plant development and to include all the seasonally different constituents. The harvest takes place on days with special light and warmth qualities (according to Maria Thun). The mistletoe comes exclusively from regional wild collection. Mistletoe extracts from fir trees (Helixor® A), from apple trees (Helixor® M) and from pine trees (Helixor®P) are processed.

Extraction and dilution are carried out with swirled water. Thereby winter and spring harvest as well as summer and autumn harvest are combined.
The total extract is obtained by mixing three parts of winter extract with one part of summer extract in a special whirling process.

The winter extract is given a special focus because it represents the anti-cyclical behaviour of mistletoe (flowering and berry ripening in the cold season) in a special way. The total extract is obtained by mixing three parts of winter extract with one part of summer extract. The various final concentrations are then produced again under turbulence.
The aim of the development of this company’s own production process was to manufacture the plants as naturally as possible. The fresh plant extracts are filled directly, sterile and without additives.
Helixor® preparations are available in the strengths 0.01 mg, 0.1 mg, 1 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 30 mg to 50 mg per ml. The 100 strength 100 mg is offered as a 2 ml ampoule.
Production and distribution are carried out at the location of the company Helixor Heilmittel GmbH in Rosenfeld, which was founded in 1975.
