ISOREL® has been approved in Austria since 1983 and is produced by the Lukas Heil plant in Carinthia, at the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia.
ISOREL® solutions for injection are concentrated (60mg/ml in the highest strength) fresh whole plant preparations without additives or fermentation processes. Three host tree variations are available - A (Viscum album ssp. abietis, fir mistletoe), M (Viscum album ssp. mali, apple tree mistletoe), P (Viscum album ssp. austriacum, var. pinisylvestris, pine mistletoe) in strengths of 60mg, 36mg, 24mg, 12mg, 6mg and 1mg. In addition to subcutaneous application, ISOREL is also approved for intramuscular application.
Extraction, mixing and dilution are carried out using a specially developed, electricity-free, cold-guided process based on a powerful, large-volume central vortex. Characteristic is a differentiated, rhythmic process control in the “pentagon dodecahedron process apparatus”. All process steps from harvesting to dilution are carried out exclusively on suitable days (constellation calculation).

The mistletoe plants are harvested in their natural habitats in Burgenland in all four seasons of the year to reveal the full potential of the plant. The summer and autumn plant (unripe berries) including the sinker and the mineral components of the summer plant produce the summer extract. The winter (state of the ripe berries) and spring plant (flowering state) are processed into the winter extract.
For mixing, the winter extract is moved in the central vortex and combined with the same amount of summer extract, which drips in naturally from an elevated position (5m) through numerous outlets. The mixed extract corresponds to a strength of 60mg/ml. The dilution of the mixed extract to produce the different strengths is also carried out using the rhythmically guided central vortex process in the pentagon dodecahedron process apparatus.
